Braelyn turned 9 months old last Saturday. What a great month it has been. She makes life more interesting single day that passes by. So what has my little one been up to this month??
She makes a high pitched huh sound when she wants something, mostly food or a toy.
She loves to stand/pull up.
She hates to lay down and stay still for a diaper change, she immediately flips over a scoots away.
She never stays still, little girl loves to MOVE.
She constantly babbles...and a lot of bong bong bongs
She has discovered that she can suck in her breath a make a new noise. It scared me the first time she did it. She mostly does it when she is excited.
And the biggest news is that last week I started to wean Braelyn from nursing. She has done SO well. She was already used to taking a pumped bottle at Weezie's, but now she gets formula. I am only nursing her in the early morning (anywhere from 5-6am) and then when she goes to bed (7:30pm)
Her sleeping habits are great. She sleeps all night EXCEPT nights she has been teething then maybe she wakes up twice, but with a little cuddling and rocking she falls right back asleep. Sometimes, well more often than not, she will even take a great nap in her bed. She NEVER used to nap in her bed, but if we are home that is where she naps now. And believe me she gets some GOOD sleep in her bed. Like at least 2 hrs. Greatness.
Well this next month I am sure my little missy will teach me even more. I am ready! She is such a joy. =)
